if you want to know the secret behind the smile
you've got to ask a Tuesday's child
i've got a cold.
it's really not that bad. but you never realize how nice it is to feel normal until you feel like crap.
nothing significant enough in my knitting world to report.
had an okay weekend. started feeling sick on saturday and then extended through sunday. paul's mom stayed overnight with us on saturday night on her way back to CT from a conference in ME. we had a brunch date on sunday with friend Price, and that was a good time. he is one of those good souls you just feel good being around. sunday afternoon we did six loads of laundry and then watched Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail. No matter what I always fall asleep watching that. Cleaned the house before going to bed.
Yesterday I went home a little early. Got into bed and read Harry Potter and fell asleep. Made chocolate chip cookies when I woke up because i NEEDED chocolate and didn't actually eat any of the cookies I baked, but plenty of the dough. Had kraft mac & cheese for dinner and went back to bed to read some more.
going to maine this weekend (leaving friday) to spend easter with my family. planning to stop to see my sister (and the nieces & nephews) in waterville on the way north to my parents house. but i thought that maybe i would try to get to Bartlett Yarns Woolen Mills while we were up north too (it's only a half-hour from where i grew up). it will take some schedule fenagling to make it there on friday (they're not open on saturdays...pooo) - but i thought it would be great to visit and take some pictures for the blog. and i emailed the folks at peace fleece to see if they have a home store or something where people can visit. we'll see if i hear back...
ANYWAY - time to actually work.
anybody have any other good ideas of where we could visit on the way north??
