okay folks...
we're off to maine this morning.
most of the clothes are packed, the rest are going as laundry.
just need to pack bathroom stuff, and i don't think it would be fair to rip the shampoo from paul's fingers while he's showering. so i'm waiting.
looks like we're going to stop at the outlets in freeport for a little while, then head further north to my sister's house, and then one more hour or so until my parent's house. that's right, we're going to where the phrase "boonies or BOONDOCKS" was coined. bonified middle of nowhere.
we should be back sunday afternoon. luckily the weather forecast looks clear here and up there(or as they would say "thay-a"). i'm allowed to make fun, that's where i'm from. and in case you were wondering you actually CAN get thay- from hee-a. some people will think i'm speaking in tongues with that, others will be annoyed at my use of a completely overused stereotypical phrase, and others may get a kick out of my lack of anything really humorous to share at 7:16 in the morning.
i'm hungry.
the important thing is that we're going to meet baby sofie - my new niece.
if all goes according to plan, and the eighteen double-A batteries that i packed don't lose their magical powers, we will be bringing back loads of pictures.
the chances of me posting while visiting the great white north - not so good. the likelihood of finding a starbucks or barnes & noble with a wireless network...let's just say it would be out of my way to find one.
okay - i've wasted enough time - i still have to pack knitting, too.
have great weekends.
happy easter.
MWAH!
